Winter well-being: relaxing in the natural environment

Bob Warman heads out to a nature reserve in Sandwell.

He explores this haven of peace in the middle of urban sprawl, and learns that spending time outdoors can help reduce stress levels and contribute to overall good health.

He has a go at mindfulness, paying attention to detail and spotting birds and funghi and learning about the changing seasons.

It's almost meditative just watching the birds and seeing what they're doing.

If they're feeding, if they're pruning. It really brings you into that present moment and it helps you relax and just take in nature.
