People in Leicester have been learning to fill and fold samosas.

Workshops have been taking place in the city's cultural quarter, as part of National Samosa Week.

It's the second year celebrating the savoury treat. Romail Gulzar, founder the national week and the Leicester Curry Awards said:

“It was incredible to see National Samosa Week gain both national and international recognition last year so we can’t wait to see what its second year will bring.

There’s been a great response so far with various businesses wanting to take part, and we’ve got some fantastic events taking place over the seven days for the public to enjoy.”

Money raised from the week's events will go to Leicestershire Action for Mental Health Project (LAMP) and Care of Police Survivors (COPS).

National Samosa Week ends on the 14th of April.
