The Super Kitchen, as it's known, has only been running in Cotgrave in Nottinghamshire for a few weeks.

It's run by volunteers but set up by Rushcliffe Borough Council and is now in its third week.

As well as bringing people together, the group is also helping to reduce food waste.

Everything that is cooked is surplus from local supermarkets.

We get lots of different things and sometimes they surprise us and we get lots of nice fresh fruit. That's very important to sort of encourage that healthy eating. People take things home with them as well because otherwise unfortunately things get thrown away.
