Search underway after man seen falling from Worcester bridge

Police are appealing for witnesses after reports that a man was seen falling from Worcester's Sabrina Bridge.

It was reported to emergency services in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 29 June).

The police, fire service and a helicopter are carrying out a search of the river and surrounding area.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time, who saw someone in a distressed state or saw someone in the river.

The man is described as being in his mid-teens and about five foot 10 inches tall.

At this time police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
