Detective Constable Jason Smalley, the investigating officer, said:

Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing this morning. I’d like to speak to anyone who was either in the restaurant or the area of Upper Brown Street last night. If you’ve not yet contacted police, then I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to do so.

Did you see what happened, or did you see those responsible leaving the area?

Any information you have, no matter how insignificant you think it could be, could greatly help my investigation.”
