The oldest Staffordshire Bull Terrier at a Dogs Trust in Loughborough is looking for a forever home.

15-year-old Lucy found herself at the welfare charity due to a change in her family’s circumstances.

Since opening in the summer of 2012, the centre has found homes for more than 150 Staffordshire Bull Terriers, but Lucy is the oldest that they have ever welcomed.

The white canine is hard of hearing but young at heart and enjoys a game of fetch and heading out on short walks.

"Lucy is an absolutely adorable, affectionate older lady and although we have looked after old staffies before, she is definitely the oldest.

She is full of fun and although she loves a snooze on a comfy bed, she still enjoys being active.

She is a gorgeous, happy girl so we are hoping that we will be waving a fond farewell to her and her new family very soon."
