West Midlands Weather: Mostly dry and bright but turning unsettled later.

Overnight: A mostly dry night with any showers dying away by evening. Many will see clear spells allowing for a patchy frost and a few fog patches to form. As dawn approaches, the odd shower may drift in from the west.

Today: After the fog clears, it will be a largely dry day with plenty of sunny spells. Cloud will start to build during the evening with rain arriving overnight. Staying chilly.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday: Rain will push across the region on Thursday, turning wintry over higher ground. Drier on Friday and Saturday but with showers or longer spells of rain at times. Remaining cold.
