A trucker who killed a young Birmingham doctor as she cycled on one of the city's busiest roads has been jailed for 21 months.

Suzanna Bull died after she was dragged beneath Robert Bradbury's HGV on Pershore Road.

A court previously heard he should have seen her for up to seven seconds before the crash, but the view from his windscreen was obscured by a cluttered tray dashboard on his dashboard.

The 50-year-old, of Cambridge Way, Acocks Green, was found guilty of causing death by careless driving following a trial at Birmingham Crown Court.

He was also banned from driving for 34 months.
