Police have made a second arrest in connection with a murder in Leamington Spa yesterday (15th January).

A 17-year-old boy from Coventry has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody.

The first arrest was made yesterday (14th January), after two males were reported to have been stabbed on Tachbrook Road in Leamington Spa.

Police are reassuring the public that they are doing everything they can to bring those responsible to justice.

Warwickshire Police are also appealing for witnesses to speak out if they have witnessed the incident, or have any CCTV or dashcam footage of the area around the time of the incident.

"While a further arrest has been made, we are still trying to identify another man in connection with this incident who was last seen on Emscote Road close to the junction with Fosberry Close in Warwick at around 11.30am yesterday morning. He is described as a young black male and is believed to have sustained an injury to his leg."

Warwickshire Police have asked for anyone with information to call them on 101, quoting incident number 137 of 15th January 2020.
