Police discover cannabis plants at a property after a bus crash in Leicestershire.

Officers went inside the house at the junction of the A6 Derby Road and Alan Moss Road in Loughborough just before 11pm on Sunday night (26 January).

They had forced entry into the home, in case anyone had been knocked unconscious and to see if anyone had been hurt - following the collision.

Two cars – a blue Ford and a black Vauxhall Vectra – were also said to have been involved in the collision.

One casualty was initially reported trapped inside the bus, and paramedics treated one person at the scene - but no life-changing or life-threatening injuries have been reported.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw any of the vehicles beforehand, to get in touch.

“Officers knocked on the door of the property to check the welfare of the occupants.

“When no answer was received, entry was forced and the property was found to be unoccupied.
