Police looking for a car in connection with double murder in Oldbury

Detectives investigating a suspected double murder in Oldbury are appealing for the public’s help to trace a missing car.

A yellow Toyota Aygo, registration SD17KKY, belonging to the murdered couple has disappeared from the address on Moat Road.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police were called to a property in Moat Road at around 4.00am on Tuesday (25 February), where they found a 54-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman.

They were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 25-year-old man was arrested less than two hours later, at an address in Smethwick on suspicion of double murder.

Our initial investigations have lead us to believe that this is a domestic-related incident, with no threat to the wider community.
