Birmingham boxer Kal Yafai in fight to defend his world title

We've all heard about Tyson Fury, but what about Kal Yafai?

The boxer from Birmingham will defend his World Title this Saturday, against one of the very fighters who inspired him in his early days - Roman Gonzalez.

Yafai currently holds the WBA world super flyweight title. He is unbeaten in 26 professional fights, 15 of which were won with a knock out.

And boxing is clearly in his DNA, Yafai's brother Gamal is also a pro fighter, while brother Galal has also fought for team GB at the Olympics.

Yafai admits that fighting in lighter divisions, such as his, doesn't always bring the glitz and the glam that come with heavy weight and medium weight divisions.

He says he just keeps doing what he needs to do in order to achieve what he wants to achieve in the sport.
