An Intensive Care Unit Nurse from Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham has had his bike stolen from the locked staff compound after finishing a shift in the early hours of the morning.
Dan Harvey is an NHS worker who is on the front line during the COVID 19 pandemic.
After finishing a shift at 2am on March 26, he found out that his transport to take him home was nowhere to be seen.
This is what he wrote on twitter:
Dan Harvey believes that it is important to support the NHS during such a challenging time and that key workers need 'support not attacks!'.
He also commented the following below his original tweet:
"You can’t steal my commitment, my faith in society or my determination to continue to fight for the lives of my neighbours. Because they are not locked up, they are freely available for those that need them."
