A man has been arrested after allegedly racially abusing a taxi driver in Birmingham.

The 53-year-old passenger was taken into custody on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence in the area of Erdington yesterday afternoon (June 4).

Footage appearing to show the incident has been circulating online and is now being investigated.

Police say they have also spoken to the taxi driver Abid Satti, who's 39, following the incident on May 15.
