Two further people have been arrested in connection with the death of a 32-year-old woman who died in a collision in Nottingham.
Officers were called to Alfreton Road in Selston at around 6:20pm on Saturday after receiving reports of a crash involving a van and a woman.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four men and a woman, aged between 21 and 46, were arrested at the scene in connection with the events surrounding the woman’s death.
Since then, a 37-year-old man and 17-year-old boy have also been arrested on Sunday (July 25).
They remain in custody for questioning.
It's believed there was a fight in Alfreton Road prior to the collision that killed the woman.
This was an incredibly serious incident and we continue to explore a number of lines of enquiry as part of our investigation. While we have made arrests, our investigation is still very much ongoing and we are still looking for anyone who may know something to come forward.
Nottinghamshire Police, Inspector Simon Riley said patrols in the area have been increased to provide reassurance and address any concerns local residents may have.
