M5 bus driver found guilty

M5 has been closed because of an accident involving a lorry and a coach. It happened between junction 3 and junction 4.

"Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision on the M5. Enquiries centre on the weather conditions at the time of the collision and how the bus came to be stationary in the carriageway. Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw the bus travelling along the M5 prior to the collision."

M5 Crash Lorry Driver Update

The man, who is not being named at this time, died in hospital just after 9pm last night. He was 65 and from Somerset. His family had travelled from their home in the Southwest to attend hospital. A third man remains in a critical condition in hospital. He was a passenger on the bus.
