A 34-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of a missing woman in Birmingham has been released on police bail.
Lisa Bennett, aged 39, was last seen in Selly Oak in May last year. Police revealed yesterday they are now treating her disappearance as murder.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Birmingham woman who went missing almost nine months ago.
Lisa Bennett, 39, was last seen on May 9 last year in the Selly Oak area of Birmingham.
Detectives said inquiries have taken place to find Lisa but after eight months of investigations there had been "no evidence" to suggest Lisa is still alive.
Today, police visited an address in Birmingham where a 34 year old man was arrested on suspicion of her murder. A search is continuing at the address for any more information.
Despite the arrest the Police are continuing to search for the missing woman.
Detective Inspector Warren Hines, who is leading the investigation, said:
Regardless of what has caused her disappearance, Lisa is still missing. We need to find her and give her family some answers.
That is why it is so important that people call us if they know anything at all.
Inspector Hines added Lisa, originally from Burton-on-Trent in Staffordshire, had a "complex lifestyle", serving time in prison linked to a heroin and cocaine addiction.
