A woman and man were assaulted after they challenged two men who they felt were being rude to the staff.

We understand that a young man with ginger hair may have witnessed the argument and assault and we are appealing for him to come forward.

He would have been out in Wolverhampton on Boxing Day night and he may hold vital information that could help our investigations.

Detectives are appealing for a ginger haired man who may have witnessed a disorder in a Wolverhampton takeaway at Christmas to come forward.

Officers investigating the assault, which took place at Dixy Chicken on Broad Street in the early hours of 27 December, have arrested and bailed a 30-year-old and 23-year-old man.

And now they need witnesses to come forward to aid them with their investigations.
