Thunderbirds turns 50: Behind the scenes as the puppets make a comeback

Fifty years since it first appeared on our screens, classic puppet show Thunderbirds is making another comeback.

A team of filmmakers are making three new episodes in the style of the originals after raising hundreds of thousands of pounds from an online campaign.

The classic children's show premiered in the Midlands on ATV in 1965. Gerry Anderson and Sylvia Anderson were the programme creators.
