There have been smiles and tears across the region today as thousands of nervous teenagers opened that all important envelope.

School leaders have been under extra pressure to do well this year after the education watchdog Ofsted raised concerns over standards in secondary schools in the Black Country.

We went along to a school in Sandwell which has bucked the national trend.
