Lincoln City promoted to English Football League
Lincoln City have been promoted back into the English Football League after six-years of absence.
Bradley Wood and Terry Hawkridge both returned to the City starting line-up for the final home game of the season against Macclesfield Town at Sincil Bank.
Lincoln City will now play in League Two after Terry Hawkridge scored the winning goal in the 76th minute. Lincoln won 2-1 against the Silkmen.
The victory has secured them the 2016/17 Vanarama National League title.
