Police release CCTV of Chilwell post office raid

Detectives are appealing for the public’s help to trace three masked men following a robbery at a Chilwell post office and convenience store earlier this month.

Three men entered the shop in Sunnyside Road and grabbed a female member of staff who was working alone at the time.

The men made threats to the woman before making off with cash and a large quantity of cigarettes. She was left badly shaken and another employee was left with a bruised lip.

The trio fled the scene along Sunnyside Road, Beaufort Drive and Inham Road.

“Although the men covered their faces, we believe that someone will recognise the green military-style jacket worn by one of the men and the dark baseball cap with distinctive purple peak and bright green gloves worn by another of the men."
