A micro-sculptor has created a miniature sculpture of Walsall's Noddy Holder which is half the size of a full stop.
The sculpture was created by Willard Wigan, from Birmingham, and was made using Kevlar and crushed diamond particles from the Jewellery Quarter.
It is being unveiled later tonight in Wolverhampton.
Walsall has bestowed its highest honour on one of its most famous sons. Noddy Holder, the former frontman of 70s glam-rock band 'Slade' was born in the town's Caldmore area. He has received the Freedom of the Borough in a ceremony watched by hundreds family, friends, and of course fans.
Slade frontman Noddy Holder has been awarded the Freedom of Walsall this evening.
It is an honour presented to people who have made a special contribution to their local area.
Many fans were watching the ceremony on a big screen put up in the town hall.
