Martina Shurmer, 21, said she "cries most nights" as a result of living in a "damp and freezing" council flat in Birmingham.

Two pedigree British bulldogs, that were stolen in Quinton, have now been reunited with their owners.

The puppy has since been named Clark, after Superman alias Clark Kent, who famously emerged from phone boxes as the legendary superhero.
