Police are appealing for witnesses after a 26-year-old man suffered life threatening injuries during a hit and run in Birmingham.
Chris Hood was crossing Brays Road in Sheldon at around 10pm on Monday night when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.
He remains in a critical condition in hospital, anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.

Police are searching for a teenager who has gone missing from the Sheldon area of Birmingham.
Tamarah Gad was last seen at the 94 bus stop near the Chelmsley Wood shopping centre at around 10pm on Tuesday 8 March.
The 15-year-old is described as black, 6ft 1ins tall, stocky, dark brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing black leggings, a white Nike t-shirt and navy blue Nike Air trainers.
PC Liane Bayliss, from Birmingham Police, said: “We are concerned about Tamarah’s well-being and urge her or anyone who knows where is is to contact us as soon as possible.

Chief Superintendent Alex Murray gave a brief statement at the scene of a fatal shooting in Birmingham tonight.
His officers will remain at the scene at the Dovecote pub in Cockshut Hill, Sheldon where shots were fired inside the pub shortly before 5.45pm.
A man died at the scene and his family are being informed.
