The Donington Park motorsport season starts this weekend with the Volkswagen Donington Rally.

Visitors can expect to see a great turn out of cars including anything from a vintage Ford Escort right up to World Rally Championship machinery. The rally circuit will be transformed into a giant stage, with tyre chicanes, off road sections and some stages seeing drivers go the ‘wrong way’ around the track.

“We are really looking forward to starting our new motorsport season, and the Donington Rally is a great way to get the year going. We’re expecting a fantastic entry of cars and if it’s anything like our last rally, it should be a spectacular event for spectators and competitors!” - Bob Adams, Donington Park Sporting Director
