More than 300 people joined the Anthony Nolan blood stem cell register at an event on Sunday in support of blood cancer patients who need a lifesaving transplant from a matching donor.
The event was organised by the Rik Basra Campaign which was started by family and colleagues of Leicestershire Police Inspector Rik Basra, who recently had a bone marrow transplant.
