As the Easter holidays begin, families are leaving the Midlands in search of warmer weather.

Hundreds of thousands of passengers will travel through airports in the region over the next two weeks.

Persistant freezing temperatures have caused a surge in last minutes bookings from people desperate to leave the cold behind.
