The Labour MP for Bolsover, Dennis Skinner, has spoken out in opposition to plans to cancel Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday, so that MPs can attend Margaret Thatcher's funeral.
He joined the Respect MP George Galloway in opposing a Parliamentary motion which would have rearranged Wednesday's House of Commons' timetable.
There will now be a debate of up to three hours on Tuesday when Mr Galloway will attempt to reinstate Wednesday's PMQs.
Baroness Thatcher was honoured with a ceremonial funeral at St Paul's Cathedral in the presence of the Queen and dignitaries.
