A boy has suffered 'serious injuries' after being bitten by a police dog in Oldbury.
The 10-year-old is still being treated in hospital after the attack, which happened in a private garden in the town last Sunday (23 June).
West Midlands Police say the animal, a German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois cross, was on a leash at the time.
The dog and its handler entered the garden after being called out to Western Road, following reports of four men stealing copper wiring near to the train station.
