Man jailed for 31 years for Birmingham pub shooting

A 34-year-old man's been jailed for a minimum of 31 years in prison for a fatal shooting at a pub in Birmingham.

Paul Davies was found guilty of murder and for possession of a firearm at Birmingham Crown Court this afternoon.

He was given a 10 year sentence for the latter charge, which will serve concurrently with the murder conviction.

Martin O'Reilley, who was 33, was shot in the Dovecote Pub in Sheldon on a Friday night in May, while he was out drinking with friends.
