Third charge in Syria-related terrorism investigation

A Birmingham student has tonight been charged with funding terrorism overseas.

Mouloud Tahari, aged 20, from Ashway, Sparkhill, will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.

He is the third person to be charged in connection with an investigation into Syria-related terrorism allegations.

Two others, Moazzam Begg and Gerrie Tahari - Mouloud's mother - have already appeared in court after the arrests last week.

A fourth person was arrested at the same time but released without charge.
