Father of two-year-old Gaurav Bains who was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder in June 2013 is running the London Marathon to raise money for charity.
Sunny Bains is running the 26.2 miles on Sunday 13th April for Anthony Nolan after son Gaurav found a bone marrow match after a national campaign.
Sunny and Gaurav's mum Gurprit started 'Gaurav's Bone Marrow Appeal' through social media to raise awareness among Asian communities about Bone Marrow donors which resulted in a 1,700% increase of donors from the Asian community.
Gaurav had his transplant in December 2013 and was discharged from hospital on 28th February after months in isolation.
