The Birmingham Ladywood MP has slammed the move to leak the Clarke report into the 'Trojan Horse' scandal.
The draft report commissioned by the government and leaked to the Guardian newspaper has found evidence of "coordinated, deliberate and sustained action to introduce an intolerant and aggressive Islamist ethos" in some Birmingham schools.
"I am disappointed beyond belief that today we have seen an extensive article on what is contained in the Clarke report. It is deeply ironic that they (both Secretaries of State) are currently looking into governance issues in Birmingham when it appears they cannot even control what comes out of their own department.
"I have already asked for the names of those individuals who had sight of the report, copies of their confidentiality agreements and a copy of the process of publication. Again I have not been given these. Nicky Morgan has been in the job two days and her department is already running rings round her.
