40 firefighters tackling 'severe fire' at school
The West Midlands Fire Service were called at 8.15pm to the fire at St Albans Primary School.
School fire being treated as arson
A severe fire which forced a primary school in Wednesfield to close today is being treated as arson.
Fire crews were called to St Alban's at 8.15pm last night.
At its height 40 firefighters tackled the blaze.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is now under way.
