Police in Coventry are urgently appealing for the public's help in finding a missing 67-year-old woman with Alzheimer's.
Worried relatives reported Angela Jenkinson missing just after 6.30pm yesterday evening. Her family were alerted to her disappearance when the minibus which usually takes her to a day centre found she was not at her home on Park Court in Allesley. Although relatives spent the day looking for her, they could not find her.
A police investigation was immediately launched, with officers speaking to relatives and neighbours, alerting bus drivers and other police forces as well as checking hospitals and nearby open spaces.
While making house to house inquiries, officers discovered that a neighbour saw Angela walking down Birmingham Road towards the Harvester in the direction of Hollyhead Road, Coventry at 9.50am yesterday. The search for Angela continues this morning.
Angela is described as white, 5'2" tall and slim.
