Shrewsbury Town promoted to League 1, while Cheltenham relegated
Shrewsbury Town have been promoted to League One after beating Cheltenham, with the losers being relegated out of the Football League.

In a cruel twist, by Shrewsbury Town beating Cheltenham this afternoon in League Two, the winners were promoted, and the losers dumped out of the football league.
Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro earned Shrewsbury automatic promotion but sentenced Cheltenham to relegation.
The striker struck the decisive goal in the 20th minute with a deflected effort which gave Trevor Carson no chance.
