Poll: Is David Cameron right to say we will take more refugees?
A Syrian refugee living in Coventry has told ITV News that the UK needs to take action to help migrants fleeing their homeland.
Abdulmunen Radwan was working as a lawyer in the city of Homs, but was forced to cross into Jordan when he and his family were subjected to constant shelling. They were granted asylum in the UK, and Abdulmunen now works with other refugees at a support centre in Coventry.
Today, the Prime Minister has vowed that Britain will take in "thousands more" Syrian refugees from camps on Syria's border, following growing pressure at home and abroad for the government to do more to help in the refugee crisis.
