Unions 'dismayed' as digger firm JCB plans job cuts

Unions say they are dismayed by JCB's plans to cut 400 jobs in manufacturing.

The company, who have a plant in Rocester on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border, says the move is still in the consultation stage and is a reaction to the decline in world markets.

The GMB union say it's causing a huge wave of uncertainty that could lead to further job losses.
