International Robin Hood Day and Robin Hood Week: 16th - 31st October (Nottingham)
Robin Hood will take centre stage this weekend as a variety of events taking place across the city mark the start of International Robin Hood Day and Robin Hood Week. Nottingham will come alive with medieval fun to entertain kids young and old, as Robin is joined by legendary friends, the Pied Piper of Hamelin and William Tell. The trio will be out and about this weekend performing, taking photos with the public and entertaining.
Our ambition for October was to put on fantastic events and attract half a million visitors to our city, boosting the tourism sector. We’re off to an incredible start after the successes of Goose Fair and the Spiegel Tent and looking forward to bringing even more visitors into the city during our Robin Hood Celebration taking place 16-31 October.
