Pupils across the East Midlands celebrate exam results

Pupils across the East Midlands have been celebrating after getting their long-awaited for GCSE results.

School leaders and councils were under extra pressure to do well in the East Midlands.

After the education watchdog Ofsted described the region as one of the worst performing in the country.
