Aston Villa announce Lansbury signing

Aston Villa have announced the signing of midfielder Henri Lansbury.

The 26-year-old arrives at the club on a four-and-a-half-year deal from Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee.

Lansbury, who came through the ranks at Arsenal under Arsene Wenger, becomes Steve Bruce’s second signing of the transfer window.

He said:

I am delighted to be here at Aston Villa.

As soon as I knew Aston Villa were interested, I wanted to come here.
