Youngsters in Guernsey are getting on board with a walking bus to school.
It's part of a healthy living scheme that aims to get people more active, during Walk to School Week.
St Martins Primary School, La Mare, St Mary's & St Michael and Vale Primary are all taking part.
They've organised walking buses and are incorporating walking into their weekly activities where they can, and using lessons to emphasise the health benefits.
The participating schools have been provided Healthy Waking Challenge Packs courtesy of Healthspan, included in the packs are wall charts, activity diaries and a reward magnet for those taking part.
The schools have also been given walking themed colouring sheets for the kids to colour in, and the schools are looking at using some of their lessons to explain the health benefits of walking such as improved alertness, helping strengthen muscles and helping to improve the environment amongst others.
