A Jersey man who is facing charges of 25 historic sex offences dating back to the 1970s has had his case adjourned in Jersey's Magistrate's court this morning.
Lester Charles Quenault is accused of six counts of rape, seven of gross indecency and 12 of indecent assault.
The charges all involve three girls aged between seven and 14 years old, with the rape charges relating to two of the girls, who were aged between eight and 14 at the time.
All the charges date back between 1971 and 1979.
77-year-old Quenault has recently moved back to Jersey from England.
The case has been adjourned until 16 May 2017.
