Two 80-year-old women have had their hair trimmed to raise funds for Age Concern in Jersey.
Dominique Sousa and Beryl Skinner want to give something back after the support they have received from the charity.
Dominique told ITV News she hopes the charity trim will help Age Concern Jersey by raising money for its new home in St Helier.
The decision was made to give the women a trim instead of a full head shave so that they wouldn't feel too cold during the winter months.
After her hair trim Beryl said she had no regrets and expressed her gratitude to the people at Age Concern in Jersey.
The fundraising comes at a crucial time for the charity, as it agrees terms with Andium homes for a new base.
Age Concern is hoping to move their accommodation to the ground floor of some new Andium low rise flats in town, as the charity has outgrown its current residence at Windsor House.
The Chairperson of Age Concern Jersey, Senator Sarah Ferguson, says Dominique and Beryl's support is great to see.
