Guernsey Raiders responded to defeat last week with a 52-0 win over Shelford at Footes Lane.

Doug Horrocks scored a hat-trick as Jordan Reynolds’ men ran in eight tries to take maximum points.

Robin Le Cocq, Dale Martin (2), Cameron Craine, and Chris Ahne also crossed over, while Sam Whitehead made six conversions.

Raiders dropped from top to fourth in London & South East Premier last week after losing at Guildford, but will keep pace with the leaders with today’s win.

Two of the key points that we wanted to bring in was enthusiasm to what we do - make sure we got our mental game right, and second part was our organisation and I think we ticked the two boxes today. It does show from last week to what we’re doing this week, how poor our mental attitude was so we just need to find consistency going forward after this and hopefully we can do that with the squad that we’ve got.
