Hidden disabilities lanyard scheme launched at Guernsey Airport
A new scheme to help people coming through Guernsey Airport who have hidden disabilities has been launched.
Lanyards with sunflowers on will be given to those who may need extra assistance when coming through the airport.
ITV Channel's Partner Charity Access For All say it is a great idea and is evidence of the Disability and Inclusion Strategy in action.
They can pick up one of these lanyards from the information desk here, wear the lanyard which is covered in sunflowers and is bright green and when they are going through the airport the staff have been trained and the airlines as well too, to recognise that person might need that little bit of extra care, do they need a bit more time, a little bit of help reading a screen?
