Ian Gorst and John Le Fondré are going head-to-head to become Jersey's next Chief Minister.
Lyndon Farnham who was another possible contender ruled himself out earlier today.
Tracey Valllois, who topped the Senatorial polls with over 15,000 votes, has also ruled herself out of the leadership contest.
Despite coming second in the Senatorial race, Kristina Moore has announced that she will not will support current Chief Minister Ian Gorst to continue in the role
She will put herself forward as Deputy Chief Minister instead.
A 'Chief Minister Designate' will be elected on Monday 4th June and they will choose who they want to make up the Council of Ministers.
This will either be approved or rejected by the whole States by the 8th June.
Once all official arrangements are organised the next States Assembly should be up and running by the 12th June.
