The derelict cable car station at Fort Regent will be demolished today.
The site which has been closed for the past 25 years, will finally be knocked down after concerns about the safety of the building's structure.
There have also been previous plans to bring down the swimming pool and aerial walkway, with an application submitted in September 2017.
The cost to demolish the cable car station is thought to be around £866,000.
Local Jersey Company D B Cummins have been chosen to carry out the work.
Previous valuations to demolish the swimming pool at the site show that it could cost over £3 million.
