Ancient coins from Jersey’s Celtic coin hoard are going on an island tour as part of a pop up exhibition.
Metal detectorists Reg Mead and Richard Miles discovered the largest trove of Celtic coins ever found in 2012, which had laid buried for 2,000 years.
Gold jewellery, a rare purse and a silver ingot have also been found inside the hoard.
The tour starts in Grouville, the parish where the 70,000 Iron Age coins were originally found in a field.
After this the hoard will spend one month in each parish hall over the next year for islanders to learn about and see for themselves.
